Scratchboard Illustrations

Project Objective
To create expressive illustrations using the scratchboard technique.
Two digital scratchboards with movement and balance as the main design elements. Both feature wisps of smoke that draw the viewer around the piece. Each has a figure as the focal point with the smoke surrounding them and hiding their features. Both are inspired by the feelings of being trapped in a veil, suffocated by dark thoughts.
